POLÍTICA Y OBJETIVOS

El Colegio Bede ha fijado como objetivo principal el establecimiento y eficiente desarrollo de un colegio abierto, moderno, tendiente al desarrollo de personas buenas, capaces, sanas y honorables, en un marco de heterogeneidad y respeto por la diversidad. Sus valores fundamentales son: la libertad con responsabilidad, el respeto a sí mismo, al otro, y a todas las cosas vivas.

Pedagógicamente reconoce al hombre como un ser inteligente que vive en un medio social, empleando su inteligencia para resolver los desafíos del medio, adquiriendo así experiencias, dentro de las cuales se producen los aprendizajes. Así, se alienta el desarrollo de la actividad libre para pensar, sentir, actuar y discriminar valores.
Se entiende al orden como un factor externo a la persona, necesario, y a la disciplina como la voluntaria sumisión de los propios impulsos a normas de conducta que producen eficiencia y economía de esfuerzo.

El Colegio Bede´s promueve el desarrollo intelectual, artístico y deportivo de cada persona a su máxima expresión.

Bede´s Grammar School has fixed as its principal aim the establishment and efficient running of a modern, open school, tending towards the development of good, capable, healthy and honourable people, in a heterogeneous setting, respectful of diversity. Its basic principles are: freedom with responsibility, respect for oneself, for others, and for all living things. 

Pedagogically, it sees man as an intelligent being living in a social environment, using his intelligence to solve the challenges of its environment, thus acquiring experiences, within which learning takes place. It believes the proper aim of education to be positive, so it encourages free activity, and the freedom to think, feel, act, and to discriminate values. Order, which is an external factor, is necessary. Discipline, on the other hand, touches the innermost springs of conduct, and consists in the voluntary submission of one´s impulses and powers to a regulation which brings efficiency and economy. Bede´s promotes the development of the intellectual, artistic and physical powers of each unique individual to his/her maximum expression.
